So I'm Supposed to be Writting a paper...

*Blerg* I'm down to my last 2 days of the semester and I am working on my very last paper and by "working on my paper" I mean I am crusing the vegweb forum...I am so unmotivated to write even though I have a looming deadline of 1pm tomorrow...
Anyone else trying their best to avoid work, school, other stuff? We can all band together and be slackers :bear2:
I definitely am.....I should be working on my definition essay, but vegweb is so much more fun!
I should also be doing my statistics homework, but...... >:D

this is my "break" from studying...
I'm with you guys. I have the final, polished draft of my senior thesis due tomorrow. I seriously have like 3 changes to make that will take me maybe an hour, but I just can't get my freakin' butt in gear!

I'm working on a marketing plan...due in two days...arg...and I just finished a final exam today...
Today I had:
-2 aides missing from my classroom
-1 tornado drill
-no outside recess due to rain
-1 new child starting
-aaaaaaaaand an accident involving a matchbox car, much blood, and 3 stitches.
oh, yeah, and I ran a huge scary IEP meeting after school.
I'm soooooooo glad today is over. I shall sleep now.
Today I had:

I excused myself from all possible stressors that could have arisen. 8)

Not many!! Chop, chop!! Sometimes in order to motivate myself, I must drill in the fact that once it's done, I won't have to worry about it anymore. And really, the worrying about it and the dreading it is worse than the doing it.
totally! from one procrastinator to another: you know you'll pull it off, so just knock that sucker out! you can do it! yeah!
ps i am feeling fine b/c i just submitted my final paper AND took another final exam! woo!

Look, Capture, it could be worse . . . . you could be in chat.
I was the queen of never getting my papers in on time and getting extensions and then torturing myself to get it done while everyone else was on vacation or just getting on wtih their lives. I technically didn't graduate college until an entire year later because of an ancient history paper I needed to write for a seminar. Ugh--I don't recommend it. Just get it done.

half way there people--but now I'm hitting writers block--this isn't even a hard paper--no research or anything...maybe teh chocolate chips I'm chowing down on will inspire my brain ;D

Yay Capture!! Whenever I was finished for the semester I would hear MLK Jr. saying (in my head, of course):
"Free at last, free at last. Thank God Almighty, I'm free at last!"
I realize that wasn't the context in which he meant it, but it always seemed appropriate! ;D The other song I'd hear (and I have no clue where it comes from) was:
"I did it, I did it, I really, really did it. I did it. I did it. And I feel good"
oh capture - lucky you! I wrote a 3 hour long exam last night, and I another one yet to write. I'm sick of this! so tired of studying, but soon, I'll be able to say:

I myself have to write another IEP this weekend.
I was going to try to stay and do it yesterday after school but I just. could. not.
PP's brain = fried.
So now I am procrastinating doing it on the weekend.
