Okay. I am pretty darned good in the kitchen. But these I totally flunked at. They did not hold together worth a hill of beans. The taste value was great, but they just kept falling apart.
My daughter has been sick these last few days (and she is never sick, thank you to vegetarian lifestyle) and was wanting a potato soup. So, off to VegWeb I go.
Made this last night. I have never had parsnips, so this was an expermint for us. It was not bad, but it showed me that I am not a big fan of parsnips. I would double the potaotes next time.
This was very refreshing. I am trying desperately to get my husband off bottled dressings, but to no avail. I hope he soon realizes that homemade is so much better than anything from a bottle.
Just had these for dinner and followed the recipe exactly, and they turned out fantastic. Thee only thing I recommend is that you squeeze as much water out of the potatoes as you possibly can.
Made these for my raw food class and everyone loved them. So simple to make and that is what I am trying to teach folks in my raw food classes. It does not have to be complicated.
