I just made the gravy part of this recipe, for I already have a biscuit recipe we use. With that said, it is my husband who goes bonkers for this. He is not Southern, but is Cuban born.
I had some store bought seitan and used it for this recipe. I also had dijon mustard only so used that instead, this recipe was to-die-for. Tasted so much like the real deal that it scared us.
Just made this tonight and it is so simple and delicate. No one flavor takes over the dish. I can't wait for the summer and use it in the Florida weather.
Oh...my...stars!!! I made this last night at my raw food class and suffice it to say that there was barely enough for me to taste as well. This dish was AWESOME!!
I just made this and the ease of this is fantastic. Thee only thing I would tweak quite a bit was the spice of the dish. The salt an pepper alone did not cut it.
I made this for my raw class studens last night and they loved it. I made it tonight for dinner, and thee only problem I see is if it will last until dinner time!
