You know what really grinds my gears.......

Ok so maybe I'm just a weirdo, but there's silly little things that really bug me for no apparent reason - what about the rest of you? Is there any little thing that really annoys you, but probably shouldn't that much?
Ok I'll start:
I hate it when peolpe jiggle their legs up and down when they're sitting down. Some people will do this continually and I HATE IT. There's no logic to my annoyance but it really bugs me.
It also bugs me when women put their make up on on public transport - just wake up earlier if you want to wear it - and don't give people dirty looks when they stare at you.
I just saw an anti-gay marriage ad on TV! It was filled with lies, of course and tried to play the,"it's harmful to children" angle. ARGHHHH!!!!!!! >:(

WHAT?!!?!!? what the fuck. ACTUALLY studies have shown that children of gay parents are usually more nurtured and cared for than children of straight parents. AGH people piss me off so bad!
They tried a bunch of angles during Prop 8 in California and the school angle was the one that worked. Expect to see more of it.
When I'm hanging out with someone and they sit on the computer the entire time.
My friend ALWAYS brings her laptop to starbucks when we go to play scrabble. And usually complains about how there isn't enough space at the table for her computer. And I just sit there half the time doing nothing.
Or someone will come over and be like I'M GOING ON YOUR COMPUTER.
what happened to actual hanging out? ugh.
We went to the upmarket expensive supermarket in search of hard-to-find spices, and I bought a packet of saladings. They were expensive, but the kind I really like.
Then I did go to my local veg shop and she gave me 2 packets of more humdrum saladings because that day was their sell-by day. Free, gratis, for nothing.
When I opened the expensive, in-date package, the saladings were slimy on the bottom and the package stank.
The freebies are still going strong, 3 days later. Still fresh and edible.

WTF is a "salading". I'm imagining a crunchy noodle you put on your salad...and I'm pretty sure that's not right.
A "salading" is any greens you toss in a salad besides traditional lettuce. Arugula, red cabbage, rocket, lamb's lettuce, beet greens, like that. They come pre-chopped, washed and ready to go.
It's better than my BGF's version. She says "saladinis" and that just sounds dumb. ;D ;)b

Yup, we just got anti-gay literature in the mail today. I am soooooooooooooooooooooo pissed! They keep showing pictures of children and talking about how we need to protect them. "If we allow same-sex marriage to pass we will be teaching our children that it's okay for gay people to marry" and,"A recent same-sex wedding in which children attended was featured in a newspaper with the quote,'This will be a teaching moment to our children.'" They're trying to make it sound like gay couples are trying to indoctrinate children. Noooooooooooooooo, the "teaching moment" is that gay people are not second class citizens and that we are all equal and deserve our basic civil rights!

wow.
hh, what is the school angle?
For the record, I will be teaching my child(ren) that it's ok for gay people to marry, whether or not the government allows it.

Marriage is a strange thing anyway, right? A state sanctioned privilege of something that is our given right to do? More like a way for the state to make money - having to get licenses and certificates for something that is a right. If I were gay, I would run from the idea of marriage. Plus marriage just KILLS your dating life!
The angle is that by schools teaching inclusiveness they're causing kids to be gay.
oh wow. thats a dumb angle.
pg- i will be too. i try not to get into it with kids at my summer camp/dance classes but if one of them calls a person (it's usually justin bieber) gay i'll say there's nothing wrong with being gay, and then correct them because justin bieber is not gay. i probably overstep my boundaries when i do that and i could potentially get in a lot of trouble, but whatever, im speaking the truth.
eh, I don't necessarily agree with gay marriage .....or straight marriage..... or any marriage. I don't necessarily disagree with it either. I just know for me I don't see the point. I've been in an incredibly happy relationship for over 10 years, why change it with marriage?
Fine if you want to do it, but fine if you don't....either way, I don't see what your sexual preferences have to do with it.
